Flossie is a trained Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, obtaining a PGDip from Oxford University. She is a founding member of Special Networks and works with a wide range of mental health needs in the NHS Talking Therapies service, supporting people using evidence-based interventions and working collaboratively to bring about change in a mindful and therapeutic space. She qualified as speech and language therapist in 2007 and has extensive experience working with children and young people in community services and schools, including autistic individuals and those with complex needs and developmental language delay (DLD). Flossie completed an MSc in SLCN in Schools, Advanced Practice in 2019, equipping her to address inclusion and communication challenges in educational settings. Flossie’s extensive experience supports her holistic approach when working with individuals with both emotional and communication needs.
Flossie is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and is a member of the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP). Flossie continues to be a member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists.
